Pierce County Survey Results

In May 2018, Pierce County initiated a research study designed to obtain benchmark data regarding county residents. In November 2018, Pierce County conducted a follow-up study to track changes in specific measures. illuminate Market Research & Planning designed both studies to provide Pierce County with data on the following specific objectives:

• Gauge residents’ satisfaction with Pierce County in several key areas

• Measure residents’ feelings of safety in their homes and their community at large

• Assess perceptions of Pierce County’s growth

• Determine relative importance of proposed Pierce County initiatives

• Develop a demographic profile of county residents ― both overall and by district
